My name is Kait, and I came to Chinese medicine through a longstanding interest in healing and the body’s ability to change when given the right support. I was drawn to Classical Chinese Medicine for its depth and the way it looks beyond isolated symptoms to the broader patterns affecting health.
Before studying Chinese medicine, I spent years working with my hands and was shaped by a background in interdisciplinary studies, craft, and work with children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum. These experiences continue to inform the way I practice. They have taught me to pay attention, work with patience, value precision, and above all, meet each person as an individual.
Raised on Hatteras Island and later shaped by the Appalachian Mountains, I’ve long felt guided by the rhythms of nature. That influence remains with me in practice, observation, pacing, and respect for the way change tends to happen over time.
I’m especially interested in the ways stress, trauma, and long-term imbalance can take shape, while also offering care that feels grounded, attentive, and safe.
